We are DANG.MX.
We write and perform rock music in English (mostly) and Spanish (un poquito).
We are Rocke Zetina on drums and vocals, César Morales on bass guitar, lute, and vocals, and Curtis Long on guitars and vocals.
We've just put this project together in the past few months. It's so new you can still smell the paint drying.
César and Curtis first met in a Beatles cover band rehearsal in mid-2015. They later decided it would be better to build their own submarine and paint it a color other than yellow.
Rocke and Curtis have known each other for years. One day Curtis mentioned the submarine project and Rocke said, "Vamonos!"
And DANG.MX was born.
If you like the music of R.E.M., Oasis, and Green Day, you may very well like our music, too.

Somos DANG.MX.
Escribimos y realizamos música rock en inglés (en su mayoría) y español (un poquito).
Somos Rocke Zetina en la batería y la voz, César Morales en el bajo, el laúd y la voz, y Curtis Long en las guitarras y la voz.
Acabamos de crear este proyecto en los últimos meses. Así que es tan nuevo que todavía se puede oler la pintura fresca.
César y Curtis se conocieron en un ensayo de una banda de covers de los Beatles a mediados de 2015. Más tarde decidieron que sería mejor construir su propio submarino y pintarlo de un color que no sea el amarillo.
Rocke y Curtis se conocen desde hace años. Un día Curtis le mencionó el proyecto del submarino y Rocke dijo: "¡Vamonos!"
Y DANG.MX nació.

Drummer !¡ Baterista
Rocke was born in 1977 in Mexico City. He ventured into the world of music in 2002 as drummer in the grunge band, Batery Inferno. After a break from music of several years, he became the drummer and vocalist in the hard rock band, Sombra Santa. In 2016 he joined forces with the chicos malos of Dang.MX. !¡ Rocke nace en 1977 en la Ciudad de Mexico. Él incursiono en el mundo de la música en el 2002 como baterísta en la banda de grunge "Batery Inferno". Años mas tarde nace la banda de hard rock Sombra Santa en la que fue baterísta y vocalista. En el año 2016 se integra con la agrupación de los bad boys de Dang.MX.

Curtis has lived in Cuernavaca since 2007. He played in 700 Water St. in Austin in the 90s and more recently in Tepoztlán-based Los "X" and Migrant Worker. He likes dark roast Chiapas expresso and the bright colors of Mexican houses. !¡ Curtis ha vivido en Cuernavaca desde 2007. Tocaba en 700 Water St. en Austin durante los años 90 y más recientemente en Los "X" y Migrant Worker, originario de Tepoztlán. Le gusta el espresso Chiapas tostado oscuro y los colores brillantes de las casas de México.

Juan Luis trained as an academic composer at the University of Trinity in San Antonio and at the University of Houston. He has taught music at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the Higher School of Arts of Yucatán and the Morelense Center for the Arts.
